The Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a regularly scheduled meeting on October 15, 2019 at the City Hall located at 160 Walker Drive.  There will be a work session held directly before the start of the meeting at 6:00 p.m.

October 6, 2019


The City Council will hold a public hearing followed by a meeting on October 21, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. to discuss the following:

  • A rezoning request for property located at 0 US Highway 11, Parcel #15-01-12-0-000-004.000, a 12-acre parcel owned by Jeff Clements and Jason Bagley, from A-1 Agriculture District to I-1 Light Industrial District.
  • Review for approval the recommended zoning district for newly-annexed property located at 120 Lee Street, Parcel #14-07-35-0-001-006.027, a 0.43-acre parcel owned by H. Keshawn Toles, to R-1 Single Family Residential District.
  • Review for approval the recommended permitted use of “tiny homes” in the A-1, R-3, and R-6 zoning districts, as well as the addition of  the definition of “tiny homes” within the Zoning Ordinance 2011-12 of the City of Springville.

Any person wishing to speak for or against the above-mentioned request may do so during the public hearing.

October 4, 2019


The City Council of the City of Springville will consider a Restaurant Retail Liquor license application submitted by La Cabanita Mexican Restaurant LLC located at 6468 US Highway 11, Springville, AL 35146.

A public hearing will be held at 6:00pm on October 21, 2019 for public comments concerning the application. The hearing will be held at City Hall located at 160 Walker Drive. After the public hearing, the City Council will consider the application at their regular scheduled meeting on the same date.
