Public Library
We at the Springville Public Library are here to serve you. Your needs are important to us. Are you looking for a job? We have four online computers for your research. Do you need to contact someone in the military? We have a special video computer that will let you see and talk to that person. Do you need to fax or make a copy of a document? You can do both here.
We are part of the St. Clair County Library System. The Library Board Chairman is Sandra Tucker. The Director is Betty Wisner. You can email Betty at bwisner@springvillealabama.org
We have over 19,000 items in our library including bestsellers, DVD's, books on CD and magazines. We use the Dewey Decimal System for our non-fiction items.
The Library Foundation is dedicated to helping us build a new library. If you want to help or have suggestions please contact us.
The Springville Museum is located on the second floor and can be used for meetings.
Are you looking for a Book Club? We meet the second Friday of each month.
We have Story Time on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. for children. Our Summer Reading Program begins the week after school is out to keep children reading and to promote library participation during the summer.
Come, let us serve your needs!
